Amazon has launched Amazon Autos, a new e-commerce platform that allows customers to purchase new cars, trucks, and SUVs directly from dealerships. Initially partnering with Hyundai, the service is available in 48 U.S. cities and will expand to more locations and manufacturers in 2025. Shoppers can search for vehicles by model, trim, color, and features, secure financing, e-sign documents, and schedule pickup from local dealerships—all through Amazon’s website. Unlike competitors such as AutoTrader and Carvana, which focus on used vehicles, Amazon Autos exclusively sells new cars and promises transparent, no-haggle pricing inclusive of taxes and fees.
