General Dynamics disclosed that a phishing campaign successfully targeted its personnel, compromising 37 employee benefits accounts. The breach, discovered on October 10, involved attackers deceiving employees into entering their credentials on a fake login portal linked to a third-party benefits platform. The attackers accessed sensitive personal information, including names, Social Security numbers, bank details, and disability status, and in some cases, altered bank account information. Impacted employees were notified starting October 10, with follow-up notification letters being mailed this week.
