Google's NotebookLM app, which launched its Audio Overviews feature a few months ago, now allows users to interact with AI podcast hosts. This enhancement lets users ask the AI hosts questions or request alternative explanations for concepts, creating an experience akin to having a personal tutor. The feature works by generating an Audio Overview, activating the “Interactive mode (BETA),” and then engaging with the host by tapping “Join” to speak. Google emphasized that this experimental feature, which is only available for new Audio Overviews, may occasionally produce inaccuracies or delayed responses.
