Gregg Wallace, co-host of the BBC’s popular cooking show MasterChef, has stepped down amid an investigation into allegations of inappropriate behavior on set. The BBC is reeling after 13 people, including Newsnight presenter Kirsty Wark, lodged complaints about Wallace’s conduct over a 17-year period, spanning five different shows. Wark claims that during Celebrity MasterChef in 2011, Wallace made sexualized jokes, though his lawyers have denied any sexual harassment. Other disturbing allegations include Wallace allegedly thrusting his body toward a female production team member and performing a "silly dance" while naked except for a sock.
