Microsoft has taken down 240 phishing websites and disrupted the ONNX phishing service, which it claims is operated by an Egyptian man named Abanoub Nady, also known as MRxC0DER. Nady, who was previously exposed by Dark Atlas in mid-2024, has allegedly developed and sold phishing kits under the ONNX brand since 2017. The phishing-as-a-service kits, starting at $150 per month, enable cybercriminals to conduct large-scale phishing campaigns and steal user credentials. ONNX also supported advanced adversary-in-the-middle (AitM) phishing, capable of bypassing multi-factor authentication security measures.
