An 18-year-old transgender girl was brutally attacked at a roller skating party in Harrow, planned as revenge after she was accused of lying about her gender identity before a sexual encounter. A group of five teenagers, led by 19-year-old Summer Betts-Ramsey, ambushed her, stabbing her 14 times and violently beating her with roller skates and boots. The attack, lasting 45 seconds and plotted on Snapchat, left the victim in a pool of blood, only surviving after a bystander intervened and called for help. Betts-Ramsey later boasted about the stabbing on Snapchat, while other attackers taunted the victim online. The perpetrators, including Betts-Ramsey and several others aged 17 to 20, have admitted to grievous bodily harm with intent and robbery, and are awaiting sentencing. Continue here.
